It sounds as if you have a great start going here and I am only going to add one item to it. Grab a copy of Square Foot Gardening from your library! I have been gardening for 50 years and did I ever learn so much from this simple principle. I actually purchased it after I read it because it really works including large areas. Throw some legs on old dresser drawers, line it with line it with garden cloth and there you go a few more square feet that look attractive too. I lied, two points
