Insert a planter to fit and use assorted plants inside as a focal point in your yard.
Repurpose the wagon bed for something else, like line it with waterproof material and bury it slightly for a shallow, ground level water feature, the bottom filled with river rocks.. Remove it and keep as much of the wagon base frame/support as possible. Build a sized wooden crate out of plywood, 2x4s, or pallet wood, and attach to wagon base. Voila! A useful garden trolley to move container plants, bags of potting soil, etc. to save your back. Much more stable and useful than a wheelbarrow.
I saw one that someone had cut foam board to fit the bottom of the wagon, decorated it with nostalgic photos and put it over the rusted out bottom of the wagon. Inside the wagon they put family memento's heirlooms in the wagon and had a piece of glass cut to make a top for the wagon. They used it for a coffee table, but could be used as a side table as well. It is a cute, nostalgic display. I wish I'd taken a photo of it.
This wagon is in great demand. It can be reconditioned as new and worth a lot of money. An Italian family started the the radio wagon and still owns it. Go on www.youtube.com and put in radio wagon.
you could line the bottom with wood, metal or any other surface, then paint it red. If it is just a hole, you could get a fiberglass repair kit and fill it in, then paint
No the whole bottom is gone. My husband said he would try wood some way but not sure it would work. It was a family heirloom and just wanted to try to save. But maybe pictures will be the best if wood bottom doesnt work. Thanks!!!
You can use it in your garden as a "flower pot". Just put soil and an assortment of flower in the wagon.....I think that would look cool.
