Is it just that the grout is very dirty or is it tinted a dark color?

It would take some time, but maybe put a "sealer" on the grout?

If you want to keep the colour...use a good sealer. If you want to change the colour there are little bottles of grout dye you can buy at hardware store. Looks like a little white out bottle. Tips has sponge on it. Run it over the grout and it changes the colour. Our grout was ugly light orange and I dyed it white. Should seal it to as it will eventually wear wear out too.

Your grout needs to be sealed with high quality sealer as it is very porous that often keeps the surface dirty. We will clean the entire tile and grout with an exquisite cleaner and then, will coat all the grout lines with a titanium sealer, which waterproofs the grout with a 5 year labor warranty. We are survivors of the 2016 flood in Louisiana. Pretty much the only thing that survived 4 feet of water was our floors. We rented a floor steamer (Home Depot or your favorite rental company) and cleaned the floors (they turned out great!!!) I applied a sealer (Amazon Stone Pro Pro Sealer on the grout and it looks fabulous.
