I've been using painter's tape. Works pretty well.
I use white fabric medical tape
I use medical tape and permanent marker. Duct tape also works. :)
I use post it notes, a sharpie and scotch tape.
You can buy a roll of 500 labels that are for the freezer and have a sticky back on Amazon for 6-7 dollars
I use freezer wrap, secure with rubber bands and mark with a sharpie. Have been doing this for years.
Use a laundry marker and write on the packages. If you write in the same area of each package you'll know exactly where to look. It's a good idea to write the date put in the freezer.
I use painters tape and a sharpie
I buy a roll of freezer tape at Walmart. It's usually kept by the foils and wraps. It lasts a long time, and I like the way it stays on in the freezer, but can be removed if you are storing something in a container in stead of freezer wrap. I also like it for labeling my containers in the pantry. It doesn't leave a residue and comes off easily. This is important to me as I change contents often! (I use a Sharpie pen for labeling)
Painters tape is great, but affix before you freez!
