I love rustic decor like this-
Youcan hang most plug in lights from a ceiling with just a large hook screwed into a stud. If your cord is not long enough you can gather kits at the Lowe's or Home Depot near you.
You could use a wire flower basket (the type that are usually full of that coconut hair like stuff) strip out the basket, dress it up with any kind of crystals or bits and pieces you would enjoy and even use battery operated LED lights if you prefer to not do the swag idea.
Hey Dorene,
We've added some light to our dark office space! Feel free to check it out:
Can't wait to see what you do next! Cheers!

I will give you this one free if you pay shipping on it. It's simply not my style. It works great but will need a longer cord and chain to work in your dining room. It currently hangs over my kitchen sink. If you like it let me know and I'll get the measurements of it for you.
I like the mid-century modern and found a pair at St. Vinnies thrift store for $5 each that i then painted a glossy black, they were orange. I see the old glass globe ones all the time in thrift stores here in Oregon.
thanks
It will take some time, I'll have to have someone come in and take it down, then find a box for it, pack it and weigh it, etc. Can you live with that?
