I have to admit I have not heard of the product you used but I would suggest sanding down the surface until you are back to bare wood and then reapply. Note: if you have applied it to a veneer then your depth of sanding is very very small so you will need to study the layer of the wood before taking any action with your sand paper. Hopefully it is solid.
