Wearing gloves and a mask cut the ivy as far down as you can then use Orthos Brush-B-Gone
I used a spray specifically for poison ivy which had a "foam marker" so you can tell which leaves have been sprayed. Whatever you do, DON'T burn it, and DON'T mow it!!!!!
Don't bother cutting it back first You just risk getting poison ivy that way

Hello, hope this helps you. Try cutting the vine about 6" above where it comes out of the ground. Put some full strength white vinegar on both of the cut ends by dipping them into a cup full of white vinegar. Do this all along the length of the vines. Repeat if necessary.
