Vinegar removes mold from leather and leaves it soft.
Try castle soap
I would go to a saddle and tack shop and buy some saddle soap. It cleans, softens and preserves leather.
Coconut oil is wonderful . I use it on the furniture , my jackets ,boots , etc.
