Is there anything that can be used to get rid of onion grass?

Ever year I have onion grass come up in my flower beds. A lot of onion grass! It's next to impossible to pull it out and get the root/bulb to come with it so I have to dig it out. Some of it is mixed in with my irises which makes it even more difficult to get out because I can't dig up the onion grass bulbs without getting the iris tubers. Is there anything that can be used to kill onion grass that won't hurt other plants? Or anything that can be used to prevent new onion grass from growing?

Unfortunaely no.Any chemicals or even a natural weed killer like vinegar will kill your other flowers.

Onion weed is a real problem, you just have to keep at it and wear it down. You can try vinegar and salt but the best way is to simply dig the problem out. When your good / wanted bulbs come up. Mark them with a stake so you know where they are and then gradually work your way around them or pull them out when they are dormant and dig the onions out. It may take a few seasons to get rid of the plant but if you keep at it eventually you should get there.
