Need info. Inside, outside? What size are the parrots? What kind of parrots and how many? All of this makes a difference on what you will need to do.
I once turned my dining room in my house into an aviary for my parrot. I put screen doors on all 3 doors leading into the room, I put additional screen on the inside of the windows. I put green grass type indoor/outdoor carpet down.
In one corner I built an environment with a tree and a pond, this was surrounded by an additional curved caging I built using verticle poles from floor to ceiling, and then wrapped in 1/2" mesh screening with a small door. I hung perches in various places throughout the room.
The only negative was, the parrot chewed all the bark off the live tree and killed the tree. If I was to do it again, I would just get a tree and peel it.
I had friends who turned a spare bedroom into an aviary for their 25 canaries with live trees.... was very nice.
Inside or outside?
I'm assuming you intend to do this in doors. Make sure there is plenty of natural light. And plenty of perchs for your parrot to perch on. You can get very elaborate and very expensive at the same time. There are a lot of choices to make. Good luck to you and your parrot. From: Cindy
