Need opinions about my bathroom redo, pretty please!!

I have a small bath room just off a dressing area. So there is a tub on one end and a toilet and linen closet on the other and only an entrance door in between. I think??? I want to take out the tub and file the entire shower area (I never take baths) and put up no walls. I know I will probably have to come out further on the wall tiles for splashes but can anyone think of a reason this would not be a good idea? In my mind it works.
I am getting older and stepping over the rub is getting to be an issue.
And of course being a "crafter" I intend to do the work myself with the help of a keg party. (or maybe margaritas)

Hahaha - I vote for the margaritas šŸ˜€. In any case, that sounds like a good idea for me - one raised separation will be much easier to step over!

I Would take out tub and put a shower stall.

I'm with the walk in shower stall. You can do it, I know you can. Skip the kegs until it's all finished

  • I so get your plan! I would certainly move ahead and take out the tub and replace with a stall shower, as previously suggested. I will toss in some $ for pizza, burgers or some take out so everyone is well fed to help you! Go for it! šŸ˜†šŸ‘

I saw this idea: Take out tub. Tile walls to ceiling, and add glass on each side of shower. No need for a door for shower.

Well, depends on how your shower is set up, not up have glass walls.
