Who said you can't make furniture out of 2x4's ?! Check out how I made this bench with a few 2x4's and some elbow grease. ![icon](http://cdn-fastly.hometalk.com/resources/design/emojis/1f601.png)

I absolutely love how this bench turned out. It was quite a journey putting all the pieces together but in the end it was all worth it. It's definitely not an easy project but I can vouch for it..... After a year of constant use the durability is outstanding.
To make the bench I sketched a quick drawing of how I will be putting it together.. (nothing professional
) I lay all the pieces together before screwing any screws. Once I saw eveything aligned I went on to screwing all the pieces together.

I then stained the wood in the Minwax Special Walnut.
I used Foam from Joanns Craft Store and the Fabric was another adventure
. Unable to find a fabric that I wanted I ended with two fabrics and made thick stripes out if them..I purchased the antique brass push pins at homedepot and measured each one before nailing it in.

And that's it. How lovely is this bench?

Couldn't be happier with the finished product..
