should we remove tile on walls before installing Shower unit?

    I am in the process of also converting my tub to a shower. Am hiring a handyman to help - can't do what I used to do any more, ggg I do plan on leaving the wall tile, will add more down to the shower pan rim. Colors will not match (almond is current plus whatever I can get cheap) but I also plan to 'paint' all the tiles white. HTH

    First my prayers are with you. You will want to consult with a remodeler who specializes in ADA compliant remodeling. Removing tile from walls is part ofthe project. What was once there will not suffice for the needs. Such has handle bars, Zero Clearance walk through shower and more.
