When I grind up my egg shells where can I store them until spring time
I want to start saving my eggshells to grind for my garden but don't know where to store it until I get a sufficient amount.
Bulbs feed off the greenery,place the entire plant in the ground.
I agree, after Easter just plant them in the ground, they will die back thats when you cut them back, and they will come back next spring
I generally buy all kinds of perennials and bulb plants after they are discounted and out of bloom. I plant them in the garden and let them die down naturally so the roots and bulbs are nourished and well established for next year. I've noted that bulbs done this way easily multiply and within about 3 years there is a very nice bed of flowers for next to nothing. Good luck and don't forget the bone meal for the bulbs.
