How can I cover an odd shaped wooden dining room chair?

The chairs are wood, but the seats do not have straight corner angles. They are
more rounded. They have never been covered. The backs of the chairs are also concave (not straight backed) - country style. I welcome any suggestions!!! Thanks so much!!!

You could upholster them yourself with fabric and foam!

When you upholster curved areas you can put a line of long stitches on the seam line of the curves, then gently gather, and it will make the curve easier to create. You can also gently pleat the curved area by hand, putting in pins to hold in place until you stitch. If I am doing vinyl around a curve, I heat it with a hair dryer until pliable, then work around the curve.

Its hard to imagine these chairs when there are a 100 options available. I can give you more info if you post a picture.

Have you thought about chair cushions that tie onto the back rails? With these, you could paint the chairs and change out the cushions for seasons, holiday, or for the heck of it. You can find them at most home improvement stores. TeresaC
