How do you clean a stainless steel refrigerator?

I have a stainless steel refrigerator and recently had my tile floors cleaned. The cleaning solution (which supposedly was a gentle cleaner) sprayed onto the bottom 25% of the door. The cleaning person wiped it off but now the top portion of the door does not match the bottom portion of the door shine wise. He said it would eventually even out after some cleanings. Any suggestions?
