How can I distress new baseballs?
Having a Baseball theme baseball baby shower, but looking for a little more vintage look!!
Such a fun idea!! You can make cakes shaped like hot dogs and other condiments and some fun decor like baby jerseys hung out like "laundry" as a garland...have fun!
There are ball shaped cake pans available. Frost white and the add the red stitching with piping bag. You could then just serve real hot dogs or better yet mini hot dogs and buns. Serve chips, pickles and the the ball cakes for desert. A simple inexpensive menu and fun too.
You could opt to make cake pops on a stick but decorate them like a baseball
, the find a cute way to present them.
Do you sew? If you do I would get foam and cut it like the one finger thing and in parents favorite team colors ,if you knit you could knit little caps in fact team colors and fill with candy. If you could still find cracker jack that would be awesome. Don't do peanuts to many people are allergic and it's not just the eating it is in the air or if they touch it accidentally it is life threatening. You could have someone cut a circle in a board and play who could pitch it in. Make a beanbag in the shape of a baseball. I'm out of ideas have fun!
