Rustoleum makes restoration kits.
I had my tub professionally re-glazed for under $300 and it was well worth it! Kits are labor-intensive and the outcome is probably not going to be what you're hoping for.
I second what Sally said. We used a kit to do a bathroom sink ourselves. It was so much work, that we hired a professional to do the bathtub and surround. He had better equipment and did the job in 3 hours, that would have taken us 3 days. Also, the do it yourself kits tend to leave drips and dribbles, not good. We had our avocado green (ick) bathtub and surround painted white. It looked brand new. And then we sold the house!
I have a bathtub that needs a new overflow screen as well as drain screen for the inside floor of my tub and cannot find one for this older tub (15 years). Also my sink at the drain has a worn out look as though the enamel was worn. I want to sell our home but must fix what looks bad. Any one out there that can please help me with suggestions? Thank you for the tips above. I had thought of doing it myself until I read your comments.
it depends on what material your bathtub is made of, if it is enamel tilex should bring it off, if it is plastic try baking soda and scrub with a toothbrush.
