Probably not much nourishment for plants. Tried to grow rhubarb. No luck.

You have lots of options- dont worry! You can plant lavender, Sisyrinchium, Iris, worm wood, yarrow, and allium. Good luck!
Just because it gravel-like, does not mean you can't plant anything for your area zone...the fact it's moist is even better! Go to your local nursery and ask for assistance in choosing.
Rhubarb is a heavy feeder. Contact your local Master Gardener association for advice for your area.
