Is there a way to make paint stick on wooden door frames?
I lightly sanded the door frames, painted with a kiltz primer and followed with a semi gloss white. It looks good, but, if it is bumped, the wood shows through.

It sounds like you did everything right - was the primer alcohol based? How many coats have you done? Another coat or two could make the difference...
