How can I get more room in a tiny closet?

The closet is shallow and goes a bit deep to the left and makes it awkward to get to anything because of the clothing rack. Its a small closet. No deeper than than my clothes

Do you have dead space at the top? You could build additional shelves theređŸ˜€

I agree put shelving up at the top! Also you may want to revamp what you close are actually hanging on, I used curtain rods in my closet all my shirts hang on an angle so theres plenty of room to sort thru an walk thru... You have to get creative some times hope this helps a little. Good Luck

I would see if I could find a tension small enough to fit the width of that deep side of the closet. If so, I would put it in between the two walls just under the original closet rod so that I could hang t-shirts/tops on the tension rod in that deep corner rather than using the original rod to fill that Space. lets say (for clarity) that the original rod runs north and south. You will put the tension rod running east and west. You can put plastic drawers in the corner under the shirts. Over-the-door shoe bags for odds and ends or an-over-the door coat rack. These can go on the bedroom door too. Attach a coat rack behind the bedroom door for scarves and hats.

    thanks everyone!

there is already a shelf at the top which I use because the closet is soooo small!! and then it's sort of set in to the left of the door, there is no electric light fixture so I've had to put up a battery light bulb
