Does hour bin have wheels? If not, purchase a dolly at a local hardware or home improvement store. Not expensive.
my trash and recycle cans stand arm pit high. they do have wheels but are very unfriendly to use. if your cans will fit into a little red wagon- do it.
Perhaps you can find 2 discarded skateboards, take off the wheels and superglue them to the bottom of your trash and recycle cans. (Position the skateboards between or over the wheels on the bottom of your trash and recycle cans -- whatever works best.) Then coat the bottom of the skateboards with silicone so they will slide/glide across your lawn. May or may not work but it's worth a thought/try.
Have an old plastic sled? Set the cans in it and pull to the curb!
