even wine stains. just spray on, blot up. some scrub may be necessary if they are really old stains, but they will come out. a carpet cleaning guy told us about this product and we use it all the time for spots on our rugs.
I just used it on an area rug that we had stored and it had some yellow stains on it from who knows what, sprayed it on, they came out! cleaned the whole rug and now we have a nice rug under the computer desk! looks like new!
Use 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp. of Dawn dish soap, and fill with water. Spray area liberally and let soak for 5-10 minutes and then proceed with blotting with a clean, dry towel until stain is removed.
