As a former home builder, I personally am capable in replacing wiring in a home. So I would And the cost would just be for the wire. I don't advise any DIY to try it.

It can be a fire hazard...talk with a home inspector or google about aluminum wiring especially being mixed with copper wiring.
Aluminum and copper wire should never be mixed. Aluminum wire is the wrong gage for all the electronics that we use in today's homes. It will be expensive to switch it all out but you will feel safer and more comfortable in your home.
