Used poison from county co-op but it killed the grass too and the cockleburs returned the next year. HELP!
Try putting mothballs in their holes, they hate that!
Treat the lawn for grubs. This is why they are there. It takes a couple of weeks, but keep at it.
Put out Juicy Fruit gum...they love it...use year round
THE best way is indeed, putting freshly chewed wads of Juicy Fruit Gum in the holes, but first pour Castor Oil in the hole. They will get the oil on their skin and it makes it difficult for them to move about after eating the gum. Farmers have been doing this for MANY years- it really is the best way. And yes... it MUST be Juicy Fruit gum, no other type will work.
Watch for movement in the runs, and stand by with your shovel and/or pitchfork.
Get a cat...we lived at the edge of a wild area and had lots of moles but not for long...our cat rid our garden- yard and it was large and not 1 mole ruining our lawn
Yep, get a cat! Besides clearing moles, they get rid of mice, snakes, crickets, wood roaches, lizards, anything really.
I had a 25 lb Siamese once who actually caught a hummingbird in flight 😊
Saturate 2 cotton balls with liquid ammonia and put in the hole. Cover with dirt.
