What kind of paint can I use for a mica piece of furniture?

    You can use chalkpaint or regular paint.-

    Prep is key. First remove doors and drawer fronts. Sand all. Wash with TSP or whatever current substitute is sold (removes grease and dirt--very hard on the hands.) Wipe down to clean, solid surface. Prime with white or tinted primer. Sand. Two finish coats, using a foam roller where possible for a slight orange-peel finish. Sand lightly between finish coats. You will have to use a brush for some cabinet upright posts. Replace hardware, rehang doors
