My radiators are So Dusty- help!

I rent a house that has old fashion heating(radiors). It gets so dusty I cant keep up with it this winter. I didn't have this problem in the summer, whats the cause?

    I don't know the cause, but if they are hot water heaters like mine were in Ohio, the solution is cheap thin blankets over them. The heat will still disperse the same but the dust will be on the blanket which are much eas to wash than all the creasvaces of the radiator.

    The cause? Most likely is from the higher humidity in the room[s] where they are located; thus the air circulating around them carrying dust that adheres to the metal that has just enough moisture to make the dust stick. Best bet is to wipe them down with a damp cloth [to get rid of the dust on them], then dry them off, but don't use a furniture spray designed to attract dust! Because that is what will happen. Maybe you need to add a de-humidifier to the room, it will gather the dust floating in the air.
