for lace doilie or yarn shade, use a balloon coated with mod podge, wrap the yarn randomly or apply doillies and mod podge again, when dry pop the balloon and remove....check out both on youtube.....also make it out of a gourd ...also see youtube,com...I once made one from neon drinking straws.....a bit more info please for an accurate answer
