You can try making a paste with baking soda and water.
I also use baking soda and water. Whatever you do- don't use anything acidic like vinegar. That is a sure way to ruin the marble!
IF it is marble, then simple nail varnish remover along with some coconut oil will do the job..
*For safety first,try a non acetone remover & let it sit on the stain for a minute b4 proceeding, then always use clean cotton cloths & rub in small circles(with a dab of coconut oil)...the mixing of coconut oil adds to the cleaning...once its done then why not polish/& seal your marble table with just coconut oil(& good old chux)... you will be amazed @ the results.
