We are a little craft group that is made up of 5 people, old, young, female and male. We met once a week to make crafts, I come up with the ideas and try and get the materials. We need some ideas of what we can make, it has to be pretty, cheap, easy to make, can only take 2 hours to make. We made fabric pillow cases this morning, went well. lots of Easter craft. Ideas would be a great help. Please. icon

your best bet is to look on pinterest with your thoughts

  • Oh how FUN!!!!! And what a great way to share, learn and teach together! Awesome . . . If I lived there I would cook and bake for all of you and tempt everyone with home cooked nibbles . . .

I second Janet's suggestion, and I would browse here on Hometalk to see if anything pops up that interests the group. Hometalk and Pinterest are my "go to" places to get ideas.

Are there gardeners in the group? There are so many little clay pot / container projects that would be quick. There have been some simple garden art ideas too. How about a Spring wreath? I saw a few that could be done in a couple hours. How about a photo frame makeover?

Hello from Michigan! I do ladies art nights, we've had men join us also, at a small studio in Berkley, Michigan. Here is my website with pictures of many of our projects. All of our workshops are 2 hours in length. www.jennysue8675309.com

    Happy crafting,

I really like to go to craft websites to get inspiration from, most will give you a list of materials you will need to finish the project. I also like to use the Michaels website they also give great ideas for crafts. Good Luck

Try knitting with plastic grocery bags. You can make soft, warm pads that you can donate to a homeless shelter. Or turn them into reusable shopping bags. Just cut the bags into strips and use them like yarn.
