My kitchen cabinets are embarrassingly greasy. Please share your degreasing tips with me so I don't have to cringe every time I glance at my cabinets.
I would try a small amount of dish soap mixed with water.
We cleaned up almost a whole can of water based paint that was spilled on carpet with Murphey's Oil Soap.
Use Dawn dish detergent After the murphys oil to get the carpet grease free.
Goof Off. Drip it on, let it work a minute then use a damp rag to scrub it up. It might take a couple times, but has worked for me for years. Whenever I paint, I keep a damp rag with me to get any drips, but some have skipped notice and dried where I didn't want paint. It even gets stuff off that's been there for quite a while.
I'm a hobby artist (usually oils) but also attend acrylic classes and this question was asked one day. A fellow student said rubbing alcohol successfully removed a blob of dried acrylic (water-based) paint from his pants. I haven't tried it myself yet.
