Hello, there are several ideas. Here are 2 for you. You can have a cable around a tree, hanging from a limb, and then connect that one to a another cable with a pully on it, and snap the dog into that one. Do not worry of the dog getting tangled up, for the dog is able to undo himself, and this will be fine.
2. The second idea, is the connect a cable from the tree limb, to the back porch, and then have a pully with a cable connected to it, for the dog to go back and forth. The dog will be fine on this one too. If you want the dog's chain to stop, at a certain area, you can place a stopper on the cable, and this will do its service.
Best wishes, J. PS. ALWAYS be sure the dog has FRESH WATER., so many folks misuse their best friend. Thank you.
