Painting a front door
Indoor or outdoor? Either one, take the door down and lay flat on saw horses or other supportive surfaces.
If, it is an outside door make sure that you paint all 6 sides! This will seal the door and prevent possible damage in the future. I used a roller for my flat doors and a brush and roller for the paneled ones. For panels, paint in a "X" motion with the brush in the recessed areas to prevent a line from forming around the panel, then roll the flat areas with your roller. You can do 5 of the 6 sides in one Allow to completely dry before doing the opposite side.
paint when humidity levels are low, I've had some issues with the paint remaining tacky for a long time.
Some people tape over the hardware . I say remove it
Don't paint when it is windy, or you may get some debris stuck on your paint
