I got free pallets from a hot tub vendor. Using pier blocks (mostly buried, and leveled), I made a perimeter with 2 blocks per pallet. The pallets stood on end and were bolted together. The door was one pallet with large strap hinges. I had an old falling apart metal shed that I took apart for the roof. My ridge beam was an alder tree that got in my way. I don't remember the details, but I built trusses to hold the ridge. That was about 20 years ago, and it still stands. Let me know if you want pictures. I have access to it.
