Propagate a Beauty Bush?

I have Beauty Bush with wonderful purple berries in fall. What is the easiest way to start a new bush?

I believe most people use cuttings (in the spring or summer), with at least 2 leaves and placing them in a pot with wet sand; once you see new leaves start to form, you can probably transplant.. I have heard that some people have planted the berries as well.
You will have to use a rooting hormone.
These propagate quite easily from the berries they are all over my yard. Birds love the berries and they spread the plant everywhere!
