I can tell you that hiding it won't work because your neighbor will smell the plants. Sorry. You could grow in between a circle of bushes or tomato plants though. Tomatoes might mask the smell a bit.
Don't grow pot....grow flowers..that should work!
Are you saying that legally you have to keep it out of sight of your neighbors or is it because this specific neighbor will steal it from you?
Do you have space where it will grow in your back yard, but not be seen by the neighbor? How about putting up some sort of fence? It is your house, they don't get a say in what you do or grow in your yard.
tell me, what do you think your neighbor can do about it? Hey, add some little fake flowers on it! :-)
