I use 50/50 vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray the wallpaper, let it soak in. Use a putty knife and scrape it off. Some wallpaper will come off in sheets or long strips. You may need to remove the paper backing the same way. Wash the glue residue off before going any further with the vinegar/water mixture.

I use 50/50 water and downy in a spray bottle. Spray paper let it soak a bit and then it should just peel off. Spray a second time to get the back paper off. Use a putty knife to help peel off the paper and then wash the wall and you should be good to go and your room will smell great.

I use hot water and fabric softener. Score the wallpaper lightly with the rotary paper tool then soak the wallpaper using an old rag or towel, let set. Most will peel off easily. Keep applying mixture and scrape. The 'paste' will easily wipe off with plain hot water and a rag when all the paper has been scraped off. The fabric softener is non toxic and smells a lot better! Bet of luck.
