You can replant daffodil bulbs but wait til the flower has stopped blooming and foliage has died back. Either wait til fall to actually dig them up and replant or dig them up after they've died back and store them in your cellar til fall and replant.
I would recommend waiting until the fall,Leave the foliage on as the bulbs feed off of that for next years flowers.
Yes, you can do it anytime after the bloom is done. Just keep lots of the original soil with the bulb. Separate as you wish and water as if new plantings.
