How can build a rabbit ramp-like thing ??

by Tami Stone
My daughter has a rabbit & he's pretty big. He has a regular cage & one that has a couple ramps with platforms in it. My old entertainment center has been out in the garage collecting dust & dirt for about 3-4 months. The garbage man won't take it cuz too big. I got to thinking (dangerous, I know), maybe make a new thing for FlipFlop (rabbit).
Hoping y'all can help me out on the "How To" part. I don't have any power tools.. only the old-fashioned basic stuff like a hand saw, hammer, nails, screwdriver, screws, etc.
Anyone have a ideas??

Hope you can read this. I'm sure you have a neighbor or coworker you could borrow a jigsaw from for the holes. If you have your measurements before you go to the lumber store they might cut the molding for you. You might need straight "tin snips" to cut the wire or a good pair of wire cutters.

A couple of the shelves come out, but the rest of that thing is one solid piece!

I'm thinking bout beating the 💩 out of it then I'll lay out all the pieces & go from there. 😁

If the cabinet is a 3-piece detachable one, you may want to try to lay it on its side and take the doors and drawers off. That way, you can make a longer ramp that's easier for him/her to climb. Remember to put little rungs on the ramp that act as little steps. You can use the space of the cabinet and drawers as a litter box area or a bed area with blankets for the bun. If your bunny is anything like mine, blankets are fun for making holes in! Haha!
