John, in this area a lot of chattahoochee stone installations are done as overlays and not as exposed aggregrate as you describe above. The epoxy used is not water based, it is 100% solids resins holding it all together, 20 year + installations have held up well. The top chattahoochee material supplier is in Douglasville. Google the term - Rock Art, he has everything you need short of good trowel men....
