wait until most of the foliage dies off, then I cut it off, remove the bulb and wrap it in newspaper, and store in a cool dark place until October or so. Then I break it out in new soil and hope that it blooms again. I have only been lucky half of the time. I have some people put it outside until the leaves fall off but I don't trust the critters where I live.
Probably you mean, Amaryllis....leave where it is, if leaves brown cut them off
Happy dance? (Just kidding!)
Depends on where you live. I'm in California so when my Amaryllis is done blooming, I cut it down & just leave it in the pot. Most of the time I get some foliage & then when the weather is warmer they bloom again. Today is April 26th & most of my plants are blooming or getting ready too. I think when you live in colder areas you need to dig up bulbs & store them until the frost is over but I'd check with a local nursery or do an online search for your area.
