Living in the south, my question - Why would you want it? If allowed it will choke out plants and things around it.
Unfortunately Wisteria grows everywhere, beautiful to look at but I would NEVER have it in my yard again. I was in my front yard, came up on the side and in the back! It even went under my house and grew up over electrical lines. Just too much work. Reconsider?
Need to cover a big space quickly. Will keep it pruned.
That's what I thought too but it grows wild here in Georgia and kills just about anything in its path. We also have kudzu which is just as bad. Once they get their roots in the ground it is a never ending battle.
