Great home! I would just repaint garage door and trim. Are you allowed to cover utility meters? If so, maybe construct some sort of box to place over the meters that can easily be removed when needed. Paint the same as trim color?
most areas won't let you cover the meter- check first. you can put something in front of them if the meter reader can still get to the meter. trellis panel about 3 feet in front of the meter should do it.
Maybe you can make a cover that matches your lattice work. Then hang a few potted plants on it?

Great ideas! I'd also like to put either shutters on the windows and or window boxes but that doesn't seem to easy considering the height.
