    Vegetables to Plant in April – Dill, Cilantro, Watermelon, Summer Squash, Spinach, Scallions, Radishes, Peas (southern), Peanuts, Okra, Melons, Cucumbers, corn, Carrots, Cantaloupe, Beans (snap).

    I planted my tomatoes about 2 weeks ago and they are already flowering. Basil grows like a bush out here. I have to cut mine back once a month. Sage and rosemary do well as long as they are not in direct sun so does lettuce.
