Make a paste of baking soda and water use a scrubie or toothbrush to scrub it. If stains are tough, use a paste made of cream of tartar and water and scrub. You can also check on Pinterest for alternate ways
You can start out by pouring some table salt around the sink and then using half a lemon to scrub the sink.

Use Bar Keepers Friend. Dry your sink to prevent water spots then shine it with a light coating of olive oil.
sprinkle a cup of baking soda around your sink and then cut a lemon in half and use the cut side as a scrubber with the baking soda...it will fizz a bit. Leave the paste on for 5 minites. And then rinse...this will also freshen the drain.
dry the sink and then polish with Lemon pledge.

Bar Keepers Friend BEST THING in the world for stainless of any kind including appliances, much cheaper than the "Stainless" cleaners & does a much better job. Will not scratch even though it is a powder
Clean with baking soda. Shine with Avon skin so soft or baby oil (just a few drops on a half sheet of paper towel).
I would start with a steel wool pad and move on to Bar Keepers Friend .
Spray Clorox Clean-Up on it. Wait 3-4 minutes then with soft sponge wip out the ick. Also could try some CLR to get the ick from around the drain
