I have tried to grow herbs in my kitchen window without success,

When they are good to go, dont water too much. You can put them outside as soon as the weather changes. Then they should grow better. Before winter take them back inside and spray some water ovet it. They like it damp. Not the ones with a hairy surface

what herbs did you try to grow,and can you explain the procedure that was used and your lighting?

I also find my indoor herbs hard to maintain but I think the most important thing is to get enough light and right amount of water (not too much and not too little)

Don't feel bad I cant grow anything either. I gave up

After the seeds sprouted and grew some did you re-pot them in the next size container? Are they receiving adequate lighting and water?
