leave them be, they aren't hurting you!!
You can hang colorful, decorative flags near your roof or place a lifesize owl statue on the roof. Birds don't like either of these and it doesn't hurt them. While they "aren't hurting you", their droppings are unsanitary and they're inclined to eat berries from your yard.

I know in the city they put plastic rats on the edges of the buildings.....so they must not like rats.
