Vinegar or a product called "CLR" - wipe on and then rinse.
Make a mixture of cream of tartar mixed with a little lemon into a paste and wrap it in a cloth.
I heat up some vinegar and put it in a sandwich bag and with a rubber band tie it to faucet overnight and then wipe clean in morning.
Try Navel Jelly, wipe on with cotton swab, leave for 10-15 minutes, wash off!
Same method as the hot vinegar, but use straight Coke from the can. The phosphoric acid will eat the rust.
