I look for people doing a house flip or construction sites and ask for any old bricks from the demolition. I went by one old house in my neighborhood where they were tearing down the old fireplace and chimney. They were MORE than happy to let me cart them off. It kept them from having to pay for their removal. Now I have a cool border of different colored bricks, some almost 100 years old! I LOVE BEING GREEN AND RECYCLING!
I vote for anything found to be recycled.
