You can use an iron fertilizer to help discourage the moss and spread a chunky loose bark in your flower beds to keep moss away. Good luck!
Remove the moss as much as possible and apply Dolomite Lime
I would say your problem is moisture. Try putting in extra drainage. Moss thrives in damp areas. alternatively plant really thirsty plants, a small tree may help.

Moss is beneficial get a book in mosses there are hundreds species. I have one kind the blooms tiny little reddish caps. I call it the soldier moss. I have some which send out tiny little sprouts that look like question marks. Moss also is benificial plant it helps to keep the ground moist for your plants.
Sprinkle Moss Out in areas you don't want, then when it turns black, rake it out.
